How do I share documents, images, and videos privately with my students?

To share content with your Lessonpal students outside of a meeting, you can upload the content first to Google Drive, iCloud, DropBox, or other cloud storage tools, and then use Lessonpal messaging to share the link with your students.

To find it, select your student from the dashboard, click on the three dots next to their name, select Send message, and share your documents with them. Alternatively, click on the chat icon on the app bar and select the student you want to contact.

If you want to share content with them during a lesson, you can use the chat function available in the video meeting platforms such as Zoom or Google Meet.

We do not prohibit students and teachers from sharing lesson-related content or information via a personal phone number or email. Be sure to keep communications responsible and respectful of all parties involved.

On mobile, select the collapsible menu on the top left corner of the screen and select Messages. If you have any unread messages, there will be a red icon next to the Messages tab with the number of unread messages. From there, you can select the student you want to have a conversation with.
